almost there, leaves turning yellow? pics

morning all,

these are northern pride and are 8 weeks into flower, some of the leaves are now turning yellow and brown spots are forming on some of the leaves is this normal?

if I cannot get a magnifying lense to see the tricomes is there another way to know when to harvest?

hey thanks

this is my first grow , and as I said I cannot get a x30 magnifying glass, how will I know when to harvest..................

it's hard to tell without inspecting trichomes. try a toy microscope. magnifying glasses at 30x or higher can be hard to find, but those toy microscopes are fairly common at toys r us or radioshack. you may be able to buy a jeweler's loupe from a jeweler in the area as well. just tell him it's for a science project with ants.

You can buy a 100x hand held microscope at Radio Shack for about $10. I bought one myself. It works excellent.

looks good, and I have the same 100x microscope from radioshack it works well.
