Almost ready for harvest but tops have turned light brown to almost white..

They lost their green color to them about a foot from the top down. The buds have turned light brown. Midway to bottom is perfectly green. Would the tops be no good this way? Should i trim all that off.
 
If i understand what u've described correctly, it sounds like u've 'bleached' ur plants. This happens when the light stains them. How far away where the plants from the light?
 
Cfls are about a foot away from them. So do i need to cut those parts off? are they considered to be dead at this point?
 
yeah i dont think cfl's are gonna bleach your plant i by far am no pro but i got a 600w about a foot away and my plant are not bleached...we really do need pics though to be able to really help...
 
Yeah, i was thinking you might have run a 1000W HPS, but CFL's definetly wont do it..
Mold is possible.. Pics will save u 1000 Words ;)
