could i still cover top of rockwool with mylar or will light go thru mylar or should i use plastic or foil paper or should i get the hygrozym

algae isnt bad in small amounts but if your not growing organic and you want to be sterile , you cant beat the wonderous powers of h2o2 50% @ 1ml/l or 35% @ 1.7 ml/l every 2 to 3 days......pathogens dont stand a chance, and will never get hold in your garden. and yes you can cover the top of the rw with panda fil or whatever you have. hygrozyme is wonderfull stuff also.

you can cover the top of the rockwool with anything that wont let light through. I covered mine with paper plates and hole cut through them so the stem could grow through. Worked great!!

This is what I use. You can probably find them at most any hydro dealer online. They are dirt cheap and effective, black on one side and white on the other (panda film).
