I had to go out of town for 11 days and come back to this. :spew:

I had mixed some 300 & 800 ppm nutes, ph'd 5.6, for my friend to water them.

They were also dry as a bone when I got back. Although almost a gallon of nutes were used.

They were growing slow before I left, but looked healthy. now just a month old, are dying.

This is my first grow using a medium other than soil. I plan on going to ebb & flow after cloning.

They are fem seeds- ppp & supergirl.

t5 lights.

humidity good, and temps 65-75.

wtf is the green stuff in the rockwool?

THANKS FOR ANY HELP

Looks to me like it's mold. I had a few issues with the green stuff on my cubes too, which was pretty much solved by covering the tops of the cubes. Either bury them in hydroton or put some sort of reflective cover on them (I use some precut panda sheets, but due to my dripper system I had to further modify the sheets :D ). I also found that I was able to scrape most of the mold off the cubes that got it. The attached image shows the tops of my mothers - the one in the front corner has it's cube buried in hydroton.

If you have access to H2O2 I'd highly suggest using that in your tank.
Good luck!! :bigjoint:

I just posted a fairly detailed reply to your other thread in the "Indoor" forum. You might find it helpful. Good luck!

i agree with ahzweepay. you have to make sure to cover your cubes once you put them under the lights or you'll get this. i just make sure mine are completely buried under the rocks. i don't know if this stuff harms the plant though since i've gone thru an entire grow with that stuff on there the whole time. but it's ugly and no one likes mold!
