Algae build up in my flood table, but because of the color?

hiya,

Real quick I got tired of the kiddie pool plastic revivors, so I dropped over $200 on a WHITE heavy-duty table that still cost $5 in recycled plastic to make, but it's 5 x heavier at least.

ANYWAY, always had black tables, grow always the same way in regard to watering, microbs, feed etc..

!st time I ever got green algae over the whole table.

It's almost odorless, but it is stuck on there, but I'm pretty sure it didn't hurt anything, since it looks like one of my best grows.

The white did i????

. I'm assuming because it's more reflective, which seems to be a good thing. Input??

I cover my white tables in panda plastic taped across the top like a drum, cut x in plastic and drop the pot in. Helps to keep table clean and also provides excellent root environment so the table ends up covered in roots instead of algae.
