I know a lot of people hated him but the man did a lot for the NFL. RIP.

He was instrumental in the merger of the AFL and the NFL leagues creating the first Superbowl.

It will be interesting to see what happens to the team. I wonder if he left Amy Trask in charge? With the whole new Los Angeles stadium being built it could be the LA Raiders again?

Yeah, but at that last interview he gave he looked like he was already dead. I couldn't believe it.

Yeah, when you google his name and go to images he has side by side pics with the Crypt Keeper.

He helped break down color barriors. He hired the first NFL black head coach (Art Shell) back when it was unheard of.
He also was the first to put a woman (Amy Trask) in charge at such a high level (football operations?

Just my personal preference. 70 years is plenty for me. To each his own. And ...... since you want "to live as long as possible" I hope you do and live to be the oldest person in the world. Good luck!

dude you dont no how bad i wanna dec you right now. im trying not to get pissed. im in a wheel chair and i tell you what ill take those wheels over a fake leg any day. you get to hall ass anywhere you want and people fucken stop. wheelchairs are awsome!!!! do it high even better dont forget to throw some head phones on.as all the trendies say its epic

Die hard raiders fan I'm 33 and I grew up watching Bo Jackson. It is what it is I think he cost this team a super bowl when he let go of gruden and also he held the rains too long. I don't ever drink but today is a celebration, for the silver and black.I'm heading out to get me a sixer of steelhead extra pale ale, if I can find it in Dago.
