Grow Report
  • Classic indica structure with the largest fan leaves I've ever seen, did not stretch too much during flowering
  • Strain is not fussy AT ALL with its nutrients so feel free to load it up if you desire
  • Flowering took far longer than I expected, harvested with 10-20% amber trichs, 67 days after the flip to 12/12
  • Great for SCROG or SOG grow methods, I grew in scrog and it was very well suited
  • Grew in FFOF from start to finish and it handled the soil well
  • Buds got SUPER frosty around week 6 after the flip to 12/12, definitely the frostiest buds I've ever grown, which is probably where it gets the "snowbud" name
  • Yield was about average with nice dense popcorn nugs on the lower branches. The main cola alone weighed around 18 grams. Yielded 64 grams under a 600 watt with 3 other strains.
  • VERY easy beginner strain to grow! Hard to mess this one up!
Smoke Report
  • Visual appeal: 8/10... Nice plump nugs with relatively good density. Nice frost covering the buds and a medium amount of orange hairs.
  • Smell: 4/10... Very average smell that's sort of hard to explain, sort of earthy and hashy with a bit of skunk to it.
  • Taste: 4/10... Same as the smell
  • High: 7/10... Nice indica high, decent amount of couchlock but nothing too overpowering. Lasted longer than average, around 3 hours for me.

Yeah I wouldn't really consider Akorn a 1 hit quitter in any way, it was a pretty mid potency for me.

I know it's been a few months but I was wondering what the odor was like with this strain during flower. I've looked allover and haven't found any info.

I've got one going, about 6 weeks old in a 5 gallon (soil) container and am considering putting it outside for a a while as I'm having heat issues in my indoor area.

Thanks
