AK47 - 10 weeks

Thanks for the advice, this is my second grow and testing quality after 10 weeks instead of 8 weeks. I checked the trichromes and they look milky white, but I wanted a little amber color. I noticed the amber color on some of the leaves but I was concerned about the yellowing. I read somewhere, when a plant is getting towards the end of flowering the leaves will change colors, is this the correct color? Thanks for all the advice. Tomorrow I'm starting the flushing stage.

With scissors or twist the toasted leaves off. It is the 4th day of preharvest formula. will it stress the plant by pulling the toastys off. Also is it safe to start the flushing tomorrow and let it go for a few days still? Sorry for so many questions I'm still new at this and the buds look like puffed up marshmallows.
 
dont worry too much about stressing the plant by manipulating it. sounds ready, pull all toasted fan leaves off, give it a good flush, then let it go a few days to dry out, watch for nanners, but dont stress about it. harvest= take the rest of the fan leaves off and hang to dry 4-7 days depending on heat and humidity. some people dont flush at all, dont be surprised if others tell you not to. go with what you feel comfortable.
 
Soma the Breeder has a famous line, "when you think the plant is done, wait another week".......I don't like to see any fresh white hairs towards the top of my buds- you should wait at least another week I'm guessing for peak ripeness.

This late in flowering, nanners don't matter since seeds wouldn't have time to form anyway. It's common for plants to put out a few at the end but I've found most are sterile anyway. Your near the end, be patient and let the plants "be all they can be" by letting them finish for peak ripeness!
