Airlines and Marijuana?

Anyone have experience transporting marijuana on an airplane within the US? What are some good ideas for doing so? Friend of mine wants to bring a pound home in a coupe months and asked me for advice. Thanks
 
but is it possible? he says he hasn't seen dogs so not sure how they would find it out of the thousands and thousands of bages.
 
IDK man...a pound is a bit much dude. You could smell that shit from a mile away. I've smuggled a half oz from FL to Vegas in a checked bag with no issues, but a pound is pushing it IMO. :eyesmoke:
 
I would say your best bet would be to have it on your self. Such as taping it to your body. The only thing they do to your body is a metal detector all of your bags go through x-ray. But a transporting a pound over a airplane just doesn't sound like a good idea to me. I would really think that through before carrying a pound on a airplane.
 
its def possible. ive never done it...the most ive traveled in the air with is a oz. it can be done.. if i needed to do it, id find a way

dont use duct tape. It has metallic strips that will set off an alarm. I've seen it happen.

Bad idea dude. If you get "selected for random screening" they will literally almost strip you naked to search you. If they have ANY probable cause from that they can take you into the little room and search even further if you know what I mean.

IF the smell was taken care of then your best bet is to put it in a bag/suitcase and check it. I still wouldn't reccommend it though. :neutral:
 
/\haha, sweet heads up about tha duct tape.......i would just put it in my checked bags... i hate bein anxious.... i wouldnt want it strapped to me... my homie said he got off a plane (international) and saw dogs and they started barking at him, upon searchin his bag they found a sandwich lol... fun story.... i would only trip about dogs with international flights or like LAX / Ny/ Atl.
 
but if you check the bag they still do a xray scan on it so that wouldnt work unless some how you could stash it so you couldnt see it in the xray, but how would you do that?
 
So are we sure they x-ray all the checked baggage? What he did mail it home via the post office and when someone picked it up they by chance got got busted? Are you responsible for it even if you didn't know it was coming or wanted it? Just looking at options here...
 
Ok, what if a person were to just mail the pound via the post office to a po box and put a phony return address on it like “Jackson Auto Parts Inc” or something like that? Do you think this would be safer??

Well...aside from possibly getting you lb of weed lost in the US mail system...that would be the safest way IMO.
