hahhah thank you! just keepin it funky

change your water and make sure you follow instructions on the nutes you use for your setup next time if you havn't been given instructions on your nutes look the product up and see what mesurments of nutes you need to use this can rot your roots or burn'em up if your not to careful hydroponics and aeroponics are a bitch to get a grip on and not fuck up good luck

I don't think that looks very normal. Normally the airstone should just be making tiny bubbles by where the airstone is, not foam up your res.

i spoke to the guy in the hydro store, he said the foam was totally fine. that the same thing happens in ponds when larger airstones are introduced. he said it might actully be better than bubbles. how the foam was almost like aeroponics....? i didnt catch everythign he said but.....does that make sense to anyone else? or does this not apply with nugg? the guy at the hydo place reallllly seems like he knows his shit about AGs too...

i dont know what do you think?

just keep an eye on your roots if they start turning brown or you foam turnes brown or green cause that aint good

i agree with this. just to be safe man

OK SO THE FOAM IS GONE. WATER IS CHANGED....

Im in my 6th day of flowering and ive changed my water for the first time. Now that ive got the fresh water in there what dose of nutes should it receive? ive been giving them 2 large Nutes every 2 weeks. i gave them that 1 week ago on saturday, if that matters.....

what should i do now?...?

for now they are sitting in the rez wiht fresh new water and my AIRSTONE!.

i was thinking....2 of the large nutes....? ay ay? if no one awnsers im doing it before i got to bed....

I'm all for more bubbles (see link below). More bubbles accomplish a lot, can start the plant from seed and are somewhat like aeroponics. BUT those are not the kind of bubbles the airstone is supposed to produce. When you do your flush put your airstone in water in the kitchen sink and see for yourself what kind of bubble action it produces. That's what you want to see in your res.

But what you have there is the bubble action being a catalyst for something else and I don't know what. But something is wrong so start with the flush. I would also start adding h2o2.
