Air Purifying CFLs, anyone used these?

Has anyone tried out these Air Purifying CFLs? I believe they are just negative ion generators, at least that is what the description seems to be purporting, and I have heard that negative ion generators aren't good for plants.

Anyways, I was just wondering if anyone has used them, and whether or not they are any good for keeping down the smell.

yeah i read a thread about this. its cool for like somewhere else in your house. some people say they work others say no but i think most say they work but keep them out of your grow room

That's bullshit..I think lol. I have a negative ion generator. It works great for me, its the Ozone generators you want to stay away from.

There are ozone producing bulbs. There is no danger of ozone at correct levels to plants. As for odor control, I think ONA works better.
