yeah the air pumps have a recommendation as to what gallon fish tank it will be good for. if you think you need more air then maybe go up to something for a 100 gallon fish tank...but thats up to you...

yep the air pumps i have been looking at are anywhere for 20 litters/min to 130 litters/min and any were from 20$ to over 100$ and i dont mind alittle over kill but i dont want to spend 100$ on a air pump if i dont have to.

Heres what I use. Its by ActiveAqua 110 liters per minute. 112watts. Its probably more than I need but it runs all 8 airstones and 8 driplines.

thats the same pump i have been eyeing, but i thing i might just get the 60watt 70 litter/min pump of the same brand. any idea where to get them at a good price? i keed ebay but only one for sale at 65$+10$ to ship.

I would go with the activeaqua pump. I started off with the dual diaphragm air pump by GH, $64. That wasnt enough so I went to the pet store and bought single pumps to add to the dual pump. Finally I got this activeaqua 110L and it can run everything! Now I have four single air pumps sitting around that I will never use. The activeaqua is $84.

Dude, go to Wall mart, home deopt, pet co, pets mart, any were... get 2 50 gallon air pumps. there 15 dollars... plenty of power. its not that hard....
