air pump

looking for air pump recommendations to run 2 flo gro 500 tanks at the moment ive got an hailea aco 9602 running the both with 2 air stones i dnt think its powerful enough 7.2 litres a minute

Those things have a pretty small res, I think that you are OK with what you have. Is there a problem?

no there is no problem just thought the more power the better is that not the case

not sure how high the water comes up in the res or how that machine works exactly but could you just put it on a timer and expose most of the roots to air for some set amount of time? I mean i would def leave the stone you have in there too. It helps keep the water mixed up and provides even more oxygen to the roots. Smaller bubbles like the ones made by micro bubble air stones also help the plant absorb more.
