I have a active aqua 110 liter per minute pump. It’s really loud. Was just gonna keep it around for a backup.

Everyone I have come across is loud nature of beast I think.

there are some linear pumps that you could put right next to your head while sleeping. big $$$$

i use the 2 outlet penn-plax air pod . amazon is like 20 each. they are fairly quiet and you can adjust output to each outlet. for 55 gallons.

I'm trying to keep things discreet and right now my air pump is the loudest part by far
