Air Compressor as a Vacuum pump?

Hey RUI I want to start making extracts but all i have is 2 air compressors. From what i have read people have been using the intake as the vacuum.

How do you plan to make the intake of those a sealed intake for the pump, and is it worth the time, effort, cost and labor?
Most compressors will shorten the life of the pump due to the fact they are meant to push, not pull, like an electric fuel pump is made to push, not pull, but a mechanical pump is made more to pull not push.

The compressors typically won't pull -29.5" Hg vacuum.
