My last grow consisted of six Bubba Kush clones in a 4x4 walk-in closet. I started them in 1 gallon air-pots in coco and soil at about a 9:1 ratio. I used dry mykos pretty liberally at the base of where each plant was transplanted into. I vegged them under 400w hps for 7 days, then put my light at full power which was 600w for another 7 days. The light was on a schedule of 24/0. I used CNS17 Grow and molasses with about a teaspoon of epsom salts each time. I also foliar fed with a tiny amount of the grow once a day.
To transition them into flower I gave them 48 hours of absolute darkness. At the end of this my timers were set at 12/12 for another 7 weeks at 600w hps. For the last 10 days I switched the light down to 11 on, 13 off. Then gave them three days of absolute darkness and chopped. I used CNS17 Bloom for the majority of flower ending the last couple weeks or so with CNS17 Ripe. I added a small amount of molasses and epsom salts to most waterings. During this grow I didn't experience any visible nutrient deficiencies, but it was due to me growing the same strain before and doing disastrously lol. Always learn from your mistakes! I yielded 9 ounces dried and cured from those six plants in that grow.
This time around, I am applying what I learned from the last grow on top of my others. I am convinced I can yield close to 2 ounces per plant this next time around using the same strain, light, and time. I want to add Cannaboost on top of the CNS17 line. I know CNS17 is cheap but the nug I grew with it was absolutely crazy! The clones have some badass genetics, but I feel like I did the strain true justice. But after seeing how well cheap nutrients done right can perform, I'm kind of on the fence about spending so much on a product like Cannaboost. But if it works as good as a lot of people say it'll be well worth it.
I'm going to grow 9 plants in 1 gallon airpots, in a 4'x4' painter's booth in a residential garage. I want to line the whole inside with mylar because I didn't use anything to enhance the reflectivity of the walls in my last grow, and know how much more energy I could've given to my little babehs. I like to water every single day, I heard that was coco's strength so I like to play on strengths. However, last time I watered once a day, and I would like to rig up a watering system this time to water twice daily.
After getting about 1.5 oz per plant last time, making these changes I'm really hoping for a pound harvest.
Something else I haven't utilized is added CO2. I just can't get myself to take the plunge on a legit CO2 system just yet. Does anyone else here grow in coco on a 10-11 week grow cycle and get the results I'm looking for?
