F frmrboi Well-Known Member Nov 12, 2010 #2 yes you water to eliminate air pockets, nutes if you want, preferrably a high phosphate one as that stimulates root growth. best to do your transplant just before lights one so they draw down some of the excess water out of the soil.

kudaross Well-Known Member Nov 12, 2010 #3 Water now. Next time water the soil you just added before puting the plant in the pot, as frmrboi said, this will eliminate air pockets.
