after being arrested for growing in the uk...

Hey all, 2 weeks ago I was arrested when the police came round looking for a person who used to live at my address, and smelled weed, opened cupboard and found 3 plants. I received a simple caution, basically slap on the wrist. I've been constantly anxious since incase police come back, I'm not growing but if they come in and search will find a few bags of weed now I'm forced to go to dealers again. Have people got experience with a similar situation, and ultimately can and do the police make a return visit, an inspection as it were, and if so how soon after?

Other than an ex girlfriend now with your child knocking on your door....what else is gonna make you move so goddamn quick .....go figure

where i live in america, they usually have about a year to prosecute for similar situations. i've heard of a couple similar situations. one of my friends got a severe injury at his place he was growing. the paramedickheads came to get him and found pot so they turned it over to the local drug enforcement team. they found a small closet grow, between a large quantity in vacuum sealed bags, ammunition, they never found his gun though hahaha. they still came back about a year later to arrest him. all he got was tons of community service and fines since he had no record prior.

i know of another incident where a lady got pulled over and they found a pipe on her. they said they may come back for her. few days later public safety is at her door arrest her.

welcome to america my friend. go to the medical states and they pretty much cant touch you so long as you go by the book. main thing is be careful who you get involved with. you can only really trust your close family and close friends. sometimes that dont even work so hot. i sometimes cant believe how easy people are to roll. all cops do is scare people. they have little power. your fate is up to a prosecutor and then judge. rolling never helps unless it's something very serious such as if you have to protect your life. most of the time depending who it is, i have a hard time calling these people that roll even human.

let me tell u a little story about the corrupt piece of shit law enforcement in my town. many years ago when i was young and dumb i got setup on a controlled buy. some bitch snitched on me because she got in some minor trouble with a joint. they said they would go easy on her and get her off on a lesser charge if she cooperated. she helped them out and set me up so she got a slap on the wrist. 6 months later i get arrested having no clue from when it was. i read the police report and i remembered exactly the day when i sold to that rat. they tried tell me the same story, help them out and get a slap on the wrist. they were really trying to scare me by saying your looking at a 4 year felony for manufacturing and delivery. i wanted to laugh in that lying faggot's piece of shit face and call him a bitch but i kept my cool. i knew there was no way i was even close going to prison, probably jail at the most. i posted bail which was extremely high probably since they knew i had the resources to skip bail and leave town. i stayed, faced the music, i got no jail time but a lot of community service, fines, probation, substance abuse counseling, etc. no drug testing though. the judge we had was actually a pretty cool guy, very respectable. he never threw the book at anyone unless they were asking for it. never again did i get in trouble then medical laws came around. i have been 100% by state law to the best of my knowledge since. i've had to show my growing license a couple times to law enforcement but they're always cool with it it seems like. one time they smelled it in my car, another time a place got raided by the feds for nothing to do with marijuana. a fugitive was hiding at a place i was growing. we didnt know he was on the run and that friend's place i was growing at had a lot of undesirables there. unfortunately i had to cut all ties with that group because they were either trouble, or brought trouble around. i dont like trouble. i like doing my own thing and not having to worry about my friends fucking shit up.


i wouldnt worry a whole lot. if they're gonna come back they probably will soon. if your planning on growing again i would do it somewhere else. what the police found was pretty minor, they already stressed you quite a bit i would imagine. especially with the circumstances that they should not have even been there to begin with. theres a small chance they will do nothing. i had a friend once who was walking through a parking lot and matched the description or someone that stole from a car. he let them search and all they found was a pipe and bag of weed. they apologized for accusing him but said he matched the description. they took the pipe and weed since he was not a medical user. he never got arrested or heard back in years so im pretty sure he's in the clear.

I got raided thirteen times in a twelve month period and they never did get anything, ever. Who knows.

Bird, surely you could get them done for harassment? Where do you live, us or uk? Surely there would be no point in coming round again at least for 2 months? As most people can't get the stuff together again to grow that quickly, or don't have the money to?

Best bet is to pop into the Uk thread an have a chat in there as a few of the lads have been busted for various reasons over the last couple of years an all of em got off with just community service or a fine,also none of them have had a repeat visit from the old bill

They have probable cause to come round in the next 12 months. If you are just smoking for yourself then dont sweat it really, get rid of loose or old baggies and dont keep scales or anything like that in your house.

Personally I'd be looking to move on a bit now they know your spec!
