African Buzz?

Started a strain called African Buzz about 6 weeks ago and so far it's growing awesome. Extremely branchy for a sativa and it's growing like crazy. My questions are these: Has anyone grown this strain out, how long did it take to finish, and do you know if this is what was called Malawi Gold? I realize as a sativa it may take 14 to 16 weeks to fully finish, but if you've grown it how long did yours take?

It is a wonderful 100% sativa strain originating in Malawi. Our African Buzz was a particular phenotype that we really enjoyed giving us an immense cerebral buzz. We crossed this with a fast growing Malawi Gold father and African Buzz was created.

Well it is most assuredly sativa. My concern is that short of going to a country and harvesting a plant that's growing there you can't really know for sure if it's 100% anything. Although this one sure seems to be damn close if not 100%.

Hemp Depot & Highgrade seeds have pure Malawi Gold and some other powerful pure African sativas from seeds gathered in Africa.

there are a ton of african sativas with durban poison & malawi gold being the two most famous. check out the listings for afropips' gear at attitude. swazi root bart is another and there are probably 3 or 4 more as well as an indica or two from africa. it's a big continent

I am growing 2 Versions of Malawi Gold, African Buzz from Seedsman and Malawi from Ace (Plus South African Kwazulu and Early Durban). Then I am going to mix them with Banana Crack and White Strawberry Skunk and Blue Mystic and Gril Scout Cookies and other color and flavor and smell buds. Then I am going to cross those with Hazes (Hopefully Cantelope Haze) and Kushes and Green Crack and Traincrack and White Widow Strains (I have White Rhino), etc.
