Aeroponic fogger sytem

do roots need to be misted or will an ultrasonic fogger in a nutrient solution work?

I want to make an aero system out of a rubbermaid tub, with 4 net pots in the lid, and a low amount of water in the bottom with several fogger units in the water. creating a high humidy nutrient fog feeding the roots. will this work?

I've been researching this a lot. from my readings you need the fog going 24/7 and you need lots of it...

the main issues I've seen is the foggers making the water too hot, and then the nute water breaking/clogging the foggers. some people have said the teflon coated discs last longer but it still is a lot of maintenance.

so probably not a good idea

for a complete vegging to harvest system prolly not. but for cloning I think it would be good
