Yeah, this one is questionable (build vs. buy) imo unless you already have the parts/tools available it could end up costing more. here's the parts list I used, made it 12 sites but the top could handle another 4-8 sites easy.
Parts List:
1 pc. ½” schedule 40 PVC pipe white (10ft. length)
1 pc. ½” PVC Male adapter – ½” threaded male to ½” slip fit female
6 pcs. ½” Slip T’s
4 pcs. ½” Slip 90 degree elbows
4 pcs. ½” slip end caps
8 pcs. 360 degree sprayers w/spray control
1 pc. 400 GPH Pond Pump
w/Adjustable Flow (eBay)
1 pc. Rubber Stopper (for power chord) – ideally 1 7/8” diameter, (found a 1 7/8”/2” stopper so can use 1 pc. 1 7/8” hole saw instead of two different hole saws)
1 pc. Can of PVC cement (skipped this, they work fine without being cemented and easy to modify/replace parts)
12 pcs. 2” plastic net pots (hydro shop)
12 pcs. 2” neoprene inserts (hydro shop)
1 pc. Rubbermaid Rough Neck container – 68L/18 US Gallon
1 pc. Marine Putty tube for sealing
Tools:
Punch (to mark and start the holes)
Drill
1 7/8” Hole Saw/Mandrel
11/16" drill bit for the sprayers
Not the greatest documentation/pics but here's what I have + a bonus tracking template I use to keep track of the cycles
