aerogarden pro grow 2nd attempt advice

hi all i have an aerogarden pro and i am using 4 x 23w cfl lights.
didnt add nutes till just now and have started the 17/7 light cycle to vegetate
again the plants are not doing well they start off fine then they start to turn yellow and darker
the ph is fine and i have aerostones in the res
havent got any fans or anything on them and i have the lights a few inches from the plants
post some pics when i can to show you
any advice would e lovely to have
the roots are nice and white and have sealed off the top so no light can get in
just added some nutes to it

you need to start them off with 1/4 strength nutes..they are hungry!Just like a newborn baby..needs food just dillutted.
24/0 is a good photoperiod for vegging and they grow alot quicker..ive done it both ways and 24/0 is best for vegging.I use a 400w HID setup for lighting
