What kind of nutes are you guys using when it comes to growing in the aero garden. The Aerogrow brand or a better hydroponics nutrient brand. Aerogrow sells a nutrient for plants that need and get extra light (link at bottom). Finally is their such a thing as too big an airstone. Considering using an aquarium airstone because of the fact that the nearest hydroponics supply store is hours away.
thanks for help i know their is alot of questions in their.

Vintage, good luck with your set up.

I am fairly new to this as well, but the air pumps and airstones that most of these growers use in their AeroGardens are made for use in an aquarium. I've seen anywhere from 10 gallon to 50 gallon capacity aquarium pumps being used to oxygenate Aerogarden reservoirs. I've also seen varying set ups using many small 1" airstones and also using just one large airstone. personally, I'm using a 20 gallon pump and one 6" airstone. I think with the shipping I paid about 20 bucks for pump, airstone, and way too much tubing, but you should be able to walk out of a pet / fish store with all 3 for 15-20 bucks.

I haven't ever seen anyone who has used those 'super-nutes' guess they really are 'new'. (maybe im just too high)

They sound like they'd be worth trying through flowering.
