AeroGarden Nute Burn

Hi. I'm starting in an AeroGarden, and have some major nute burn on the lower leaves. I've been flushing in distilled water for the past 2-days and am planing on flushing for a whole week. I'll be transfering the plant to a larger hydroponic system with the next watering. I'd used a 1/2 dose of FoxFarm Grow Big... which caused the nute burn. It was in distilled water the first week, and the 1/2 dose FoxFarm the second. (it's been two weeks since germination.)

Should I trim off the lower leaves? They look worse every day and I think it's apparent they're gonna die. I'm just wondering what the most healthy thing for the plant is? To trim or let fall off themself????

All feedback is greatly appreciated.

Hello mr. towel,

sorry to hear about your burn...
yes, those 2 bottom leaves are gonna die... I would wait another day or 2 before you remove them...

cheers

I started with a 1/2 dose of FoxFarm Grow-Big. I noticed a little minor nute burn about 5 days into it, and rather than switch to distilled water immediately, it actually didn't look too bad, so I figured I'd just change to distilled in two days when I had orginally planned. It sounds extremly stupid typing it out, but that's what I did. In the future, the minute I notice over nuting, I'll switch to distilled.
