Aerogarden good for outdoor starts?

I was wondering if anyone has used the handy aero garden starter kit to set up clones for outdoor planting, and how it worked.

I use a diy cloner and vegger to start my outdoor plants they go straight into the ground the roots go crazy. check out my grow from last year all of those plants came out of a cloner.dirrtyd

Sounds good! I'd maybe take a middle step and party cup them into some soil first to make sure they get all rooted and accustomed to the soil but either way should work fine. =)

After I take the plants out the vegger the roots are longer than a two liter. Trust me on this not from a book actual work. dirrtyd

so dirty you plant the clones out doors with the long root tails danglen? do u pile them in the hole out doors or dig a trench for them please. thanks for the replies you 2

I acutally make a hole for them to go down after sprinkling the roots with ZHO then I bury the stem and let go. I just spiral the roots down the hole. If you have nice soil they will do there thing. Just keep them watered properly I personally use a meter for watering it works for me.dirrtyd
