Aerogarden First Grow Help

Hi,

i started an aerogarden grow four days ago, i think im doing something wrong.
all seeds germn ok, but i have noticed that only that root gets longer and its like its having trouble to get out or something. i changed the seeds position and raised it up a little to help it come out.
oh and i have my setting on 24 hours of light.
some of the roots are short and some are longer.


any help would be nice from you guys.

Place the the plants in the foam after you poke a hole in the bottom of it , then put the root through the hole and the top of the plant at the top of the foam.. be gentle

That inch or so of white root just under the seed shell should be the stem and should be out of the foam, then it will turn green...

Maybe if you do this it will grow better...

Dont put the seed very deep into the sponge, it should be 1/4-1/3 down into the foam...

thats what i thought, but i spliced the foam into two half's and i'm using it, should i change the foam and use a new one?

should i put the seed shell outside the foam on the top and only the rest inside the foam?
and add light?

slicing the foam all the way is fine, you can also slice almost all the way, or you could make a hole, or you could just not slice at all....

But I recommened some sort of slicing or making a hole...

And if your seed already shot out it's root and it is that long...then yea, have the seed shell on top of the foam, maybe even a little more...

I did slice all the way, one more thing im getting LED lights for the sides to mix with the original light , any ideas would be nice.

Whats the best light setting for veg? I have the AG pro 200
