AeroGarden EasyRyder Grow

What up peeps, ZiggyZag here!

I am making a first attempt at growing EasyRyder in the AG (mainly because I have to stay relatively stealthy and keep things small). I figured I would join up on this site and start a grow log for everyone to follow. I use this site a lot to get information from and this is my thanks to everyone out there.

Anyways, this is my current getup:

-AeroGarden Pro 200
-Easy Ryder (Lowryder #2 x AK47)
-FoxFarm FloraGrow, FloraMicro, and FloraBloom
-Dr. Hornby Big Bud
-2 6500K 23W CFLs
-2 2700K 23W CFLs

Also note, I am looking into getting a Sun System 150W HPS light.

Right now, I have the AG set on 24/0 pump and light setting until the seedlings surface (which should be in the next day or so). I germinated 2 seeds in paper towels and they sprouted taproots in 2 days. Then, I moved them to the peat pots that came with the AG.

My future plans for this are to run my system 20/4 the entire cycle because it is an autoflowering strain. My only questions right now are:

-How long should I keep my pump on each day? (a little worried about root rot)
-Does anyone have experience with FIM or LST with this strain? Outcome?

Any feedback, questions, comments, advice is greatly appreciated!

Pictures to come!

Happy Growing,
Z

Keep your pump on until a good amount of roots touch the water then use an airstone or two!! you can turn off your pump to avoid fungus! good luck! the salad setting will keep the pump on 24 hours until then.

Good looks! I didn't even think about that. Now I just gotta get my lazy ass out to get an airstone. Oh wait, I have the internet. Delivery service!:blsmoke:

yeah there real cheap but get a good pump with two outputs, you can always block one but have the other if you need to add another stone later.. and keep the water level real high disreguard the ag fill line so the bubbles keep your med. moist :) been working great for me! enjoy

Alright geezer, looks like you got it planned out,

I'm currently practising LST on my easyryder and shes loving it at the moment... im 42 days from seed, check it out the grows in my sig,

Youve got my attention, ill be watching

the only thing i would say is that the roots of the two plants in that little reservior might get a bit clogged up,

Good luck any way dude!

My AG 200 has always worked well using the tomatoes setting. Not sure how much the pump runs but it dont run a whole lot and have never had a casualty on the seeds. The sponges stay wet enough between pump cycles to make it grow. The sponges also stay wet from touching the resovoir liquid on the bottom I think. An airstone is a great investment for the contraption.

Sick, I may go ahead and LST for the hell of it. What kind of light are you currently using?

Yea that makes sense. I just have both light and pump on 24/0 until I get my figure 8 cord for the light. Also are you using additional lights and what were your yields?
