Aerogarden after germination problem

I'm had a few successful grows with my AG Pro 100. However, in the last 6 weeks, every time I successfully germinate the seeds, using the paper towel method, they die within 7 days. I've taken great care to sterilize the unit prior to starting a new crop. Has anyone else had this problem and do you have any suggestions.

I use distilled water, additional lighting, no nutrients until after 2 weeks from germination. I've done this before with no problems but this is really has me stumped.

ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

have u tried germing them just in the AG? not using the paper towel method?

i got an AG 2 days ago and just started from seed they have already cracked with a 4-5mm root. i didnt put a hole right thru the sponge should be ok tho right? try from seed mate..

where did you get your seeds? are they badseed? that might be why

U might wana check ur waterin system and make sure its delivering the water in the right proportions to the plants.

After germination everything looked fine. I transferred them to the seed pods and the stems looked good. Then within a week, they died.

I have had 3 successfull grows so far in the AG
but i have always started them in the AG
I use the newer Veggie Pro

im on my first successful grow would have been the second if the light didnt fall on my first ones...but yeah you should be good if youjust drop the seeds into the seed bricks keep the aerogarden light on 24 hours they will pop up anywhere from 2 to 4 days....dont germinate in the towel aerogarden has it set up...follow the exact instructions put the settings on live plants...that i have found has worked the best....you can go to my post and look at my pics...my plants are almost two feet tall right now and am in the flowering stage....i used the aerogarden light all the way up until the flowering and then switched it....i used the aerogarden nutes and just started using some blooming liquid...other then that just follow the directions dude and you should be fine...im no expert but what im doing it working
