So i just read FilthyFletchs "30 min 6 plant Aero Build" and the only question i have is, do i need a timer for the pump or does it run 24/7?

pump runs 24/7. In fact its a big deal if the pump stops for any extended period of time so consider a UPS for your pumps.

Some people run their pumps 30/30 mins. so I've read.
