hello every one... I wanna start by saying much respect to those of you who have been helping me with my little project here. But I have many questions and I've been reading through this place for like a week and some still aren't answered or i'm getting two different opinions.

Ok so as most of us AG guys I bought the herb kit and modified the carriers with my own seeds. the seeds I was using are a few years old and have been keeped locked in my safe ( I say this just to point out they were left in the dark ) I put the germing tablet in put my carriers in and played the waiting game. I had different strands I put 2 romulan, 2 atomic haze, 1 mango and 1 island sweet skunk over a week into it only one strand Romulan really did anything it split and showed signs of something growing but yet nothing has happened past that. ( any idea what could cause it just to stop ) It cracked over a 4 days ago and hasn't changed much. I took the 5 seeds who showed no signed of life and moved them to baggie and paper towel method in my kitchen closet. I had some seeds I had gotten in a bag a little while ago... ( I was so pissed when I found them, and now I"m kinda glad I didn't throw them away. ) anyways I put them in the bag with the rest of them and they cracked in a little over 24 hours I moved to them to the carrier right after they cracked. ( what is the right time to make that move? ) Ok...
Next I bought some CFL for when I get to that point 100 watt, 1600 lumens, mercury based lights... will these work for side lights?
I have air pump ( 2800cc per mins ) with 2 4" airstones in my AG, I was told to let it run 24/7. I've seen some pictures of people using alum foil, mylar or something to cover the top of the ag where the carriers sit Is this good or bad. I haven't found any body who has talked about this.
Nurts? ok I'm not trying to order anything online... What can I get at home depot or wallmart to use... and if some one could post me the nurt number deally ??-??-?? that alone would help, I know it's out there just haven't come acrossed it yet.
I've seen one post talking about flowering them at 3 nodes roughly 5" to help with the limit of height with a AG, I'm looking for more opinions on this matter. I know I'll get small buds but will they have the potency? and if I do this how long should it take me to go from start to finish, and what should I expect to yield. I'm growing only for me so I'm open to methods other then me trying to figure this out.
To those of you who reply thanks for any info you can give. I'll be checking back with updates on what and how I'm doing I have some pictures i'm gong to try and load but they are weak I only really have the camera on my phone. the rez sucks for small pics like these
