Is the AG deluxes base compatible with any other ag? what makes the deluxe the deluxe? i want to see if i can swap out units cheaper. can anyone help on this matter?

I think the deluxe just has a longer rod.. 24'' inches or something like that..As far as the base being compatible i don't know..

As i posted earlier this week in a differnt post i broke my ag deluxe. I have the light running via ps2 cord. but i need the base of a new aero garden so the pump will work again

The deluxe, elite and pro 200 are the same lighting....

Pro 200 - 7 pods - dribble pump

Deluxe - the same - +master garden kit. extra sponges, supports, etc etc

Elite - 6 pods - has airator no pump. The pump is the weak point and theres even a PDF on how to clean it.

Always add a bubble stone to your reservior and the pumped water will stay cleaner and extend the lif of your pump.

Oh and I hear they do two for 1 deals if factory is out of stock so call em if you dont mind waiting the month or so and U get 2 gardens...

The pro 100 and pro 200 have the 24hr feature ..
The Deluxe is just the 4'arm and upgraded hood (3 lights) its an upgrade to make the pro 100 a pro 200

its cheaper buying the delux, pro 200 or elite 6 model rather then buying the classic or pro 100 model than adding the delux upgrade kit on it.

delux- 229.00
pro200- 199.00
elite 6- 199.00 (best deal, comes with air pump)
pro100- 169.00
upgrade kit- 109.00

your better off building a DWC. its cheaper and you'll yeild more off it.

Okay I just got off the phone with AG customer service. The ONLY difference is the Deluxe has the TRELLIS ($29.99 seperately) and the the PRO200 has the "Interactive Intelligance" and the Deluxe does not. They BOTH have the 24" arm and 3 lights..The Deluxe comes in either Black or White. In my opinion the Pro200 is the better unit for what I'm doing.

I have the pro 200. It has 24 hour timer, pump(which suck) and 3 lights. I run a 175watt metal halide lamp. Honestly. I dont use the pump anymore, I use airstones. Im only using the aerogrow light to just get more light to the lower shelve, its sitting on the ground. I run a seperate timer for my lights, have the aerogrow plugged in to so its lights turn off at the same time and another CFL light on the other side. I run the airpumps pretty much all day(dont know if its good or bad)

so keep that in mind before you buy one! I could have made a better set up for the same price!
