Hey just had a question about my garden. I'm new to aeroponics, and was just wondering If I cut the males at the base, are the dead roots from the males going to fuck with the females??

Hum, lets see, would it fuck up the females if you tossed in a bunch of dead rotting roots? I am thinking it wouldn't be good.

well not entirely, i never took my male roots out, i cut at the lowest point possible, and taped it off, havnt seen or heard of anyone having a problem with it, but if you can untangle the root i would but if you can, leaving them if your best choice

ty, i have a feeling i won't be able to untangle them. Why do you tape it after you cut it?

he prolly tapes them so when they rot or if he gets bored and feels like untangling them he does and there fine that way and outt his plant.

wat da hell u talkin bout, i dont think itll be a prob either i had sum males in the same pot as da females and ther just fine

lol I had no clue what he was talking about either. So you had males in your aeroponics system and did what with them? I heard to cut the males down to where they wont produce pollen but still stay alive, so that their roots in my stytem that are all tangled together with the females don't rott. Someone else has had to have done this before.
