My first grow. should be fun this is about 3 and a half weeks from SEED. damn this thing works great. lol. but yeah its just some seeds i found in a bag of schwagggg. but hopefully they will turn out nice. let me know what you think. and any help would be greatly appreciated. and oh yeah im new so HI.

Yeah I really hope so. I've heard alot of mixed things like, if they are really bushy and leafy and not long and stalky they will be female and such ,but there's only one real way to find out. I think I will let them get a little bigger and then flower them to find out . Hopefully it has a bush and no nuts . But for now they look pretty healthy.

hey man go to wal mart and get an air pump and air stone it costs $14 all together, you'll be happy you got one

Once your roots reach the water in the res, turn off the pump (not needed) and use the airstone / pump to oxygenize (spelling) the plant roots.

Check out the stickys in the Aerogarden section... lots of useful info.

Are you using the light that came with the system or have you added any additional lighting?

for now just the aerogarden lights . but as soon as the height runs out i have additional cfls and a figure 8 cord

the airstone keeps the oxygen levels up in the reservoir if the roots dont get enough it can stunt growth and even rot the roots

how do you turn the ag pump off?

you unplug the aerogarden. and use an airstone and hose to put oxygen in the water. then use the figure 8 cord to power the light with a timer plugged into it. and ta da!
