Advices for a newbie (indoor)

Hi, I just started my own culture and I seeded yesterday two seeds of mj (unknown species, bought in a supermarket in mallorca).
My box is quite small 40(L)*60(l)*70(h) cm, and made of wood, with an Ecolite 125W and pc-fans.
The seeds are in a planter 60 (L) x 20 (l) x 17 (h) cm, where other plants are growing (such as vegetables ad hop, wich are growing successfully).

1) Do i have to close hermetically the box ? I mean do mj needs it to produce flowers ?
2) Is the planter big enough to produce a few grams ?
3) Can i prevent the plant from growing too tall ? In fact the best would be the weed hides itself among other plants (yes I'm paranoid)
4) Will the other plants cause a problem ?

I will certainly have other questions, but the mains are here and i found no answer on the forum so i'll be glad someone answer me, thanks

2. Yes, it is.
3. Yes, study topping and LST (low stress training).
4. Not unless they have pests.

thanks so much. I think i'll top them, cause lst seems to require a lot of place. But is there a danger if i top them too young ? will it flower anyway (if it's a female)

wouldnt the other plants roots cause problems as the cannabis fights for rootspace??

i don't know. i hope my other plants will be weak enough to let the place to the mj roots ...

im almost positive theres gonna be a root problem.

If you are running a 125watter and are only hoping for a few grams, then I suggest it would be cheaper to buy your medicine from somebody else. By the time you get done paying the power bill, the math won't add up newb. Perhaps it might be best to rethink your plans....

weed is very expensive where I live, and I don't like to buy it myself on black market... moreover i like gardening so it's like a hobby for me.

cool. fine its your grow. Go ahead and do what you want. That was just my advise, I thought it was good. Unless you can get more than a few grams. Then it might be worth it.Few grams definately not worth it. A successful grow will average about 1 gram per watt. Experiecned growers can get much more than that. So that puts you at about 122watts below par

Munch is right, a 125watt might be overkill for what you want to do? It could work well but be prepared for a plant that will grow how it wants unless you learn in advance how to prune, train (lst), bend how you want to 1) maximise yield 2) get the plant to work with your space. Learn how to top, incase you plant grows to tall to quickly before its ready to bud. Is a homemade box that is a little bigger out of the question? Just a little bigger as munch implied could have so much more reward.

a 125watt is a lower energy user anyway, go ahead and try.. trial and error and you will be so much wiser the next time. Next time though, get better seeds! if the plant does not go right you wont know if its your fault or crappy seeds?

no offence munchbox ! i can understand you find this a little ridiculous... i hope that i will get more than a few grams it would be nice ! I meant that a few grams was my first objective, then if the plants produce more, i can't ask better ! i think my bill will totally worth it considering the light power.

@skyboy : thanks for the advice, i learned to top thanks to videos don't worry i think it will be fine for this. in fact i have better seeds but they are not a my home let's say the seeds i just put are test-seeds, to see if weed develops well in my box ! and btw i'll maybe train topping on them
