So im fed up of paying more money for worse weed ive decided to grow my own, ive done an outdoor geow before (put seeds in ground and harvested in the nov).

So after reading up for up so got some seed from amsterdam, te 2 i planted are; critical soma and amnesia.

The kit i got (bear in mod just was just for testing)
Dual 125w 6u CFL.

So anyway i was way over my head with nutis to use to just stuck with basic tomato

Now ive had my plants on an 18/6 cycle and and decided they where big enough for 12/12, theyve been on rhis cycle for about 2 - 3 weeks now

This is the amnesia its just over 1m tall looks healthy to me

This is the soma its abit bigger at about 1.6m got few bown spots on aome of the lower leafs

I think ive done ok for my first try (please dont troll me im asking for help) but what can i do for my next grow to improve im start some seedlings off soon as thease start ro get read to harvest
 
Looks great man. Many here don't believe MG works. But, I think it does. If the Amnesia is from Dinafem, you will love it. I don't know about Soma, but that Ambesia is easily my top 3. Great job man.

I tried growing in soil w MG a looong time ago and it was waaaay worse than that, so youre getting it! Actually I have not ever pulled off a soil grow lol, found water easier. But thats just me. :bigjoint:
 
thank you both, soil is easier for me for the space im using but would using the coca balls be better and i the the MG pellets in the soil when i first planted, but what nutis would you recommend for a novice to start with for the veg / flower stages? also i think thinking of changing the bulb to a 300w, would i benefit from it for a 2 plant grow or is the125w ok. thanks

ETA: if you can, go ahead and add more wattage. that would definitely help you increase your harvests.

Just harvested my first crop and my advice is to make sure and pinch the smaller buds off if it's not to late. I didn't and I can tell ya popcorn buds SUCK!

yeah, i usually go in around day 14-21 in flower and lollipop all that too.

ETA: i've noticed that each plant is different where she'll "draw the line" with the popcorn buds and my light. it's cool to watch it.

Popcorn buds are awesome and will make some of the best blondest wax youve ever dabbed if you do it right. :bigjoint:

But i do it both ways. Depends what kind of mood im in on that grow. :cool:

If you don't have a library card, get one and start reading books like Marijuana Botany (Clark), The Soul of Soil, Teaming with Microbes, and the Cannabis Grow Bible. The more you know the better you will grow.
 
thank, i will start reading those books and i have orderd the 300w bulb and another 125w so i can use the 2 125's for side lighting, thank for comments

You asked good questions and are getting good answers.....

Add "Teaming with Nutrients" to your reading list is about all I would add .
