sounds like you are on the right track. pics would help. i have never use root stimulant on seed or seedlings and i have always had 100% success with seeds. What is up with the other 3? What spectrum are the cfl's. if they say warm white, switch to ones that say sunlight or bright white they are the right spectrum for vegging. Start with the light that far away and if you see it start stretching move the light closer. Great start!

cfl what the hell, get a 200 watt or 250 watt envirolite, keep it 1 or 2 inches away, get 2 if poss a blue and a red would be even better.

move the lights closer, use your hand as heat test if it is to hot for your hand it is to hot for them. also some 100w 150w 200w Huge CFL would do your plants well. look into LST, FIM, Toping and Scrog to help control the plants height, more so for good lighting. this plants are going to smell and will stink up a 500 sqft house you have that under control? Good luck :joint: :peace:

I have my CFL's about 2 inches away from 10 day old seedlings right now and they are doing very well. CFL's don't put off alot of heat and as long as they are not touching the plant you should be A-OK.

Your temps are about what mine are and I have had zero heat issues all summer. I will be glad to see fall come around. Just keep those fans moving the air. Sounds like you are off to a great start.

What type of "root stimulant" are you using. I use SuperThrive and Thrive Alive B-1. I have no idea if it helps or not but I typically have some very aggressive roots, so I am afraid to stop using it.
