I plan on growing in a 3x2x8 closet, with an led, so heat is not an issue. I must run exhaust out the closet ceiling into the attic. The only way i can run an intake is from the roof. How important is an intake? The house has central air, can this be considered an intake? Although the closet door will be closed (double sliding) will fresh air still reach my plants? I live in the midwest so winter will be approching, if the intake air coming into the closet is really cold what then? This intake/exhast has to be my biggest hurdle to conquer so any advice would greatly be appreciated.

You could probably vent into one side of the roof and intake from the other side. But only in winter. And this could invite pests in if you didnt cap your ducts with screen or mesh.

If i were you id just grab a tent to put inside your closet, that way you can open the closet door and allow air in but still exhaust through the ceiling.

What size light do you plan to use and what kind of fans as well?

the pro grow x5 with selective switch

Havent considered fans yet but they would have to be small because of space restriction. I would perfer not to use a tent because in reality i have a concealed area already, and a tent would just have me spend money where i dont feel i have to.
