Advice please read *water pump*

Okay so I set up 5 gallon buckets with 1/2 bulk heads 1/2 inch flex tube from buckets to pump. My water pump is pumping all the water out of the buckets before they can rejuvenate the water from rez. So I was wondering if I put a 3/8 return line to rez if that would do trick. Or would I have to put bigger lines between the buckets from rez

either that or inline ball valve so you can fine tune it. adjust the flow

Put the pump on a cycle timer.

Both are good advice. Ball valve is the best and cheapest option unless you want to spend some coin on a cycle timer that runs anything less than 15 minute intervals. BTW Harbor Freight has cycle timers for cheap and I have never had one fail. They are 15minute interval ones.

cycling the pump helps with heat too. If heat is a problem.

Thanks every one I think I will do both methods so buckets can level out as there is already dwc going on in each bucket. Ty for easy solution. I did not want to re plumb everything.
