Advice Please (Cleaning Glass)

Whats happening folks, went and bought my first glass bong today and was wondering can any of ya's give me a few tips on how to keep her clean and fresh ? Any do's and dont's ?

I would suggest getting an ash catcher.
Its like a mini bong were the bowl goes. It keeps the bong clean for a long time.
The best method of cleaning imo. Is rubbing alcohol and either rice or salt.
Let soak in the alcohol for a while then add the agregate.
Shake away. Rince,rince rince,.repeat if necassary.

Ya what he said. Instead of alcohol I use Formula 420. I get it at my local headshop and it works great.

Rubbing alcohol works great. If you have any friends that work at a fire restoration co. use their ultrasonic cleaner, the vibration in the solution shakes all the res off the glass.

After I make hash oil, the dishwasher gets all that sticky shit i couldn't get off the pyrex with a razorblade very well, but i wouldn't load a nice bong in the dishwasher with a bunch of other dishes in there.

Nice one fella's, cheers for the replies. Will have to grab some rubbing alcomahol and try it with the salt, see how it goes. Will also look into those 'ash catchers' Bossman thanks.

Also, how would warm water and salt fair ?

get a poker to ash out cashed bongs. clean that thing everyday. don't wanna smoke outta a grimey bong, it kills the flavor of fine sinsemillia. incidentally, sinsemillia isn't a word that's recognized by rollitups spellchecker. (isopropyl) Alcohol and salt is a perfect mix, just fill the bubble up with a mixture of alcohol, a tablespoon or two of salt and shake it up real good, rinse well, refill, smoke and repeat daily if you actually smoke. Enjoy!

I keep my bong clean by cleaning it out after every use.. but the alcohol and salt would work.

formula 420., the head shop you got it from should of offered you some products to help clean it with.

formula 420 is basically isopropyl alcohol and salt. at a price much higher than rubbing alcohol and salt.

Yeah I'll be cleaning it everyday alright, it's already looking a little nasty

But it also leaves a very nice citrusy smell for a while lolz.
