Advice on grow tent.

Hey folks, So I'm 2 weeks ago from harvesting my first 4 plants I can't wait! I've grew them in my cupboard in my house my cupboard is large and tall so I didn't have to worry about space touch, I nearly have £200 saved up for this tent,

It will be on its way to me next week ill be ordering it friday, Just a few questions, I already have the seeds for my first ever grow in a tent they are royal cheese off royal queen seeds I have 4 to grow, How long should i veg for? (That's my main concern because I don't want to grow them then flip and not have enough room for the plants after they have stretched) My light will be on 24/7, I won't be doing much training to the plants as I'm still new to growing but I will be topping every plant in the tent, Just space wasn't really a problem in my cupboard where in this tent it's 1x2 1x2 200, I have all the full range off canna nutes and additives they turned up today also two bags off Coco turned up today to, Just please tell me how long to veg for with my light been on 24/7!! Lol, Opinions and advice apprecIated cheers folks.
 
They dont grow that fast bud. Expecially if you top them. Time totally depends on to many factors. Light, temps, medium, strain, ect. My veg is 7 weeks but i top 3 times and do lots of training. Dont worry about time go by size of plants.

I'm not trying to take the wind out your sales but I have that same tent by a company called 'Earthworks'. I paid about $120us for it and it's an okay tent I guess, but I prefer my Apollo brand tents, and they started at around 100us too, good luck!

Top stuff cheers buddy, I have all the nutes and additives 2 bags off Coco my 4 royal cheese seeds all I need now is to buy the tent tomorrow and hopefully it should come next week, Then me and my dad will put it up lol Would you say that's a okay deal for what you get? I've rounded up everything separately and it's I've £300, Its the best deal I've found so far.

I will do cheers buddy my mate told me to veg for 2 weeks with 24/7 light on, Top them inbtween then flip them after the 2 weeks, My biggest fear is vegging for to long then the stretch ruining things lol

I am assuming your running clones then. 2 weeks is awfully short for veg even clones. I would do as your buddy sais. He knows his clones ( i hope) and your set up. Fyi though.. Clones that veg for a month yield much more than clones vegged 2 weeks. Do as he suggests and after harvest if you still have lots of room then next time veg another week and so on.

Nope buddy, I'm seed at the moment I ha e 4 northern lights from seed in my makeshift grow room plus i have already bought my seeds for my next run I've got 4 royal cheese off royal queen seeds, I wanted this strain as it was the first strain I ever smoked and I'm growing northern lights because I got told it was good for beginners and can forgive a mistake lol. I vegged these seeds I have one for 3 weeks with light on 24/7 and they are fairly large but i didn't really have to worry about space, So I was a little concerned about how long to veg in the tent.

Just looked at your grow journal as well buddy, Top stuff! They look lavvvllyyy!

Good journal buddy, I didn't realise it was a old one, I noticed that you too very early I'm fairly new to growing and I got told if I top to early my plants won't recover son I topped every plant in had when they where about 4 weeks old at the 4th node, Does it make a difference when you top a plant?
 
20180916_210800.jpg Slows them down when you top early for sure. Cell growth is exponential the more cells there are to divide the faster they will grow. The same is true for later on though. When you have 8 main colas per plant instead of 1 or 2 your area fills much faster. With a more even canopy. My current girls a week ago. 10 days from harvest now. 9 plants. 8 main colas per plant. 72 main colas. Not 72 side branches trained into colas

Orrrr man im so jealous seeing that picture has just made my night!! I'm sat smoking a lovely joint off strawberry cough while im writing this lol Yeah I read that it slows down growth when you top early but you seem like a experienced grower would you recommend topping early? I can't wait for my next run to be honest this one was my first an I've made some mistakes and learnt from them son I think ill be better next run all I need is the text I'll be pressing it tomorrow. Im around 14 days from harvesting my first ever grow 4 plants off northern lights everyone has been topped, Anyway brilliant job on them buddy.
 
Depends on how you plan to train your plants to fill your area. I mainline. Most mainlines lst. I supercrop mine because i dont want to try to go around 72 strings when i feed. The same reason i trellis instead of stake.

Yeah I've looked into LST to also supercropping but I don't want to risk snapping a full branch off anyway it's to late now my lady's are in flower lol Hopefully I can master the training side off things after a few good grows under my belt, I think ill just top the sroyal cheese when I get this tent i have 4 seeds. You learn as you go I suppose and I've certainly learned a lot this first grow.
 
Absolutly. Fyi you will probably f up a bit your second grow also. For most people your third grow is your first real yield and after 15 your still getting better.

Yeah i suppose you are right to, I had major nute burn this grow I got a little exited with the nutes and I was feeding the girls 10mls off A+B to a 2 litre bottle at one point 5ml off each, Do you think it's wise to grow in coco? I've got 2 bags here I ordered for my second run they where £14 each or do you think it's just wise to stick to soil for my first few grows? Also I've got all the canna additives and I've printed out a grow guide off the canna website measuring by 2 litre. I honestly can't wait for it I'm Exited as anything for the tent to come next week I've orederd it around a hour ago when my wages went in from work, Should be here Monday-Tuesday.

I'll look into it I've heard a lot about it like but as a newbie to growing I'm a little skeptic to mess with my plants lol

Hey buddy just edited this post, I've just been googling manifolding and been reading about it for about half an hour and it all seems to complicated to me, The only type off training I have done to my plants is topping and it's worked rather well turning the one main cola in to two, I have 4 northern light plants and each one has been topped.
