advice on first grow please

First grow, looking for general advice. noticed some yellowing of leafs in middle. and browning of leaf tips.
4th week of flower

i am using GH 3 part nutes (30% strength), botnicare calmag+(50% strength), and i tad bit of rasta bobs one love bloom enhancer 0-50-30. cap full of h202 with 1 gal of RO water. diy dwc

try to keep ph at 5.8-6.2 (check once-twice a day) will go up to 6.8-7.0
try to keep water temp below 80F
cabnit gets a little warm from 75F-90F
(1) 200w cfl fixture and (2) 24w T5 HO fixtures
try to keep cfl about 8-10 inches away from plant and t5 about 1 inch
i use small containers with sugar water and yeast to make some extra co2 for the high temps (arizona)

Nice Budz! Looks like a nute deficiency. I really don't have much advice on how to correct it though. I am a strictly soil grower and do not want to advise on something I know nothing about. Try posting in the hydro forum for experienced advice.

ty for the advice i was thinking nute burn at first, but am starting to think its nitrogen deficiency cause of yellowing. but browning of tips i am not sure.

I think they are hungry, too. Maybe increase your ppm and back off on the bloom booster to half strength. Nice buds, btw. Way to rep the cfl/t5s!

Yeah; that combination (only 30% strength GH nutrients, CalMag+, and a 0-50-30 fertilizer) is too low in nitrogen. You might look at a more "complete" nutrient formulation for flowering, or (if using GH nutrients for flowering) increasing the strength of that and backing off on the 0-50-30.

i did a res change and put the ppm up to 1000 and i haven't had to adjust ph yet, which is good. ty for the help

wouldn't they both be just about the same? cfl = compact fluorescent lamp: T5 = fluorescent lamp. just straight instead of compact. so they both use the same gasses to heat up.

T5 is more efficient than most CFLs (less energy wasted as heat) and CFLs have their ignitor built in, ballast is tucked away from the bulbs in a t5 fixture, so in general a T5 fixture is easier to cool than a CFL setup. they really only get hot near the ends of the tubes.

because of privacy, and i know i and a few other grower who just are secretive. you just have to be. cant just trust anybody these days

laws and public opinions change. i also dont know who the fuck runs this website and what their motives might be now or any time in the future. just because what we do is quasi legal (remember federal law) does not mean i am gonna give out my name address and # to some stranger on the internet. there are plenty of great sites that never would dream of asking about this info (like this one). i feel that these site have users privacy as a top priority. if a site needs your qualifications on record as the first step of joining then that only tells me they are trying to a) cover their own ass when someone busts them which they think will happen otherwise they would not need your info to sell out to whomever busts them. or b) they are simply collecting your personal information to sell to someone else or monetize some other way which would not be beneficial to you in the end. either way there is no good reason or benefit in me giving my personal info to strangers on the internet. AZCS operates the same way and if you dont think they are gonna sell out their patients when they get busted or try and market some of their bullshit to you then you are ignorant or stupid.
but hypotheticaly lets say that the only reason they do this is to comply with the law. well it will no longer be their decision if they get raided and the feds or leo takes their files and your info is in there. growing still poses great security risks not just from getting busted. there are many thieves out there who would love to know the location of a grow and some of these thieves carry a badge and gun. this is just my opinion.

Why do they need that info for a forum??? That shit has you adress & drivers license number.

see i said a few other growers value there there privacy(security).

I feel the same way - if i trade with someone they can see my card, other than that its my business.
