Advice needed

Hey guys, so i've just started flowering a week or so ago on my first grow and everything has been going well thus far, however, I have not fed these 4 plants any nutrients whatsoever throughout its life cycle as i've been nervous to do so incase of giving them too much and burning them (my plan was only to feed if I saw deficiencies) but now i'm worried that by not feeding - even though they look good - that my yields will suffer...

so should I continue as I am without feeding or just start slowly even though they don't really look like they need it?
Using a 400w MH/HPS and vegged for about a month

Edit - Growing medium consists of organic seedling mix, vermiculite and perlite 50/25/25 so there were not any nutes in the medium either just to clarify

Any help on going forward with the best results will be greatly appreciated, shitting bricks that something goes wrong before harvest

Hey wilko,
nice plants by the way.

Also havnt you been about a while? I seem to recognise the name, could be just stoned me though.

well from those pics they certainly dont look def. the thing about deficiencies is once the plant is showing the signs it has already under gone some form of nutritional stress, so yeah its a good way to grow, but could slow you down abit.

Personally, i would start a 1/4-1/2 strenght fert and do a fert water water routine, im sure the girls would like that as its a seedling mix, so probably dosnt have much nutrition left(about a month you said,,)

, most likely will be low on Mg or Cal, depending on the soils starting content(dol lime content). And your tap water(if you use tap water that is, as it may have 50ppm Mg and 100ppm Cal, in which case you wouldnt need to supplement it really....sorry im ranting now...)

Personally i would just use a Ca and a Mg supplement for the transitional week or two and then small doses of a bloom fert, thats using bio bizz all mix, and using their light mix im feeding alot more.

if you still have the bag of soil,or know who it was made by try find out the ec(should be on the bag) and this will tell you how strong the soil was to start with. It can give you an idea of how strong the soil is and there for roughly how much fert you are going to have to use, or if you need alot or a bit or none....
Like the light mix is about 1.2 ec, and that needs fert after first couple of weeks(can be added straight away it says) and the all mix is about 2.3 and dosn't need much for the whole grow. To give you a rough idea...

sprry if im not much help and abit long winded.
Lovely looking plants though...

take it easy..

Looking at your pics again i think you could probably go a while before adding anything.. Like i say maybe a Mg Ca dose just the once for this transition, but honestly it dosnt look like its needed.

Take it easy.

A little light green for me,I think it could use some Fish Emulsion for some Nitrogen.
Or another source of N.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I'll give it another week or so and if they're still flourishing i'll just leave em be until harvest I guess, suppose the less chems pumped into them the better the final taste and product should essentially be :)

Im pretty new to the world of growing bunnyface so must be another wilko you're thinking of, appreciate the advice.

Things are going good and if you use nutrients use only 1/4 of the amount directed and with use of "N" nitrogen ,need to watch for toxicity, but once n flower no "N" is needed, so I would not use it in flower but in vegation stage

its easier to feed an underfed plant than to cure an overfed plant. better be safe than sorry. take it easy on feeding if they don't look like they need it.

Dont know where you get that the plant needs NO Nitrogen in flower,So wrong.
I agree it does not need a lot, but I keep my plants green until harvest,no yellowing of fans.

even bloom foods have N because it is essential nutrient for growth. Just because its flowering doesn't mean no N, Just less. I feed mine a N boost the first week of 12/12 to help with the fast paced growth and stretching they do to make room for bud.

I run my veg nutes til they finish their stretch before switching to bloom nutes.
The brand nutes I use have N in their bloom nutes so girls stay nice and green til finish.
