Advaned Nutrients Nitrogen Levels

for small grows it could make sense financially, however when you scale up the cost it just doesn't seem practical for large operations, therefor they are targeting the smaller home growers. if your content making them rich so be it, but you'd save a ton consolidating down to dry fertilizer. also only growing 5lbs over 5 years is nothing compared to the tank size for many large scale operations, again for them this makes zero sense. why do they split everything into different mixes, it seems most people need all the bottles to get results. it seems like a sleezy method to entice novice growers into thinking that the fertilizer is the main component of growing good weed. they slap a pot leaf on it and all of the sudden its marked up. idk I shelfed my 3 part along time ago, inconsistent results , ph Flux, and that was GMB. did I get bad results because I didn't buy the rest of the line?
I totally agree with most of that and if you're going large-scale then bulk salts and mixing your own up makes great sense. I'm a retired chemist and don't want to be f'ing around with that shit. I just want to grow my own meds with the least amount of effort and getting rid of pH issues is huge for that. I'm getting f'ing old man at 66 and have been growing bud since 1978 on and off but the last 20 years there is always plants in my house. I've posted thousands of helpful posts to new growers on this and many other forums.

AN 3-part costs no more than GH and it's not owned by Monsanto/China like GH so that's a huge plus right there. The pH Perfect works great if you leave it alone and that saves a lot of time and expense right there. I used their older stuff and it wasn't as bad at keeping the pH regular as the batch of GH I tried so fug them.

AN is still it's own company and not part of a corporate cannabis takeover like GH, Botanicare, Gavita and many others that have been folded into the Scotts/Monsanto/Hawthorne/Bayer/Roots comglmerate lie so many I haven't mentioned.

Hate all you want but get educated about why you hate first. I hate corporate takeovers and companies like GH that have always denied us growers where AN came out of the gate saying they made their products for pot and have been getting nothing but shit from the corporate owned hydro industry ever since.

I don't shop Walmart either for much the same reasons.

I used to be a big AH fan and like their product due to the ease of use,. however I do agree that there is too much N in their base nutes on the grow side. I always cut all their recommended levels to about 75% and seldom had any issues. I know that there are a lot of haters here on AH but for a small grow they can speed up your finish and increase your yield but they are in the business of making money so I think they push the limits with how much is a safe amount you can give your girls

One thing u don't do is run the full line up. As mentioned before just running the different base I noticed a huge difference. Will all respect to all the growers here and don't take this the wrong way. I feel like GH is cheap shit straight up. Out all the 2 currently An beats GH all day. I am using h&g rn and it's blowing GH too.but will see when I flower.
AN uses quality inputs where GH has always opted for the lowest bidder that are mainly Chinese. Way worse batch-to-batch consistency as well. I've tried two different batches of GH 3-part over the last 20 years and both were way different than the other. With the 5 batches of AN I've used in the same time when you mix 1ml/L of all 3 parts you are damn close to 300ppm with each.

I've tried a lot of the different supplements over the years and have settled on the 3-part for my base. Rhino skin for some silica and Big Bud for a booster. Epsom Salts, mineral supplements ground up from ones I take for personal health and some MSM for a sulphur boost near the end is it.

When I bought my last jugs of AN it was almost $30 cheaper than the same from GH and if you don't buy into all the hype growing with AN is cheaper in the long run yet. No f'n around with pH is a godsend and worth lots!

Of course you fuck up the nutrient ratios and chock the hell out of them. Forget what you read from manufacturers and focus on what the plants are telling you to do.

If you actually read literature on the subject you see that far less phosphorus is needed than what people think for example.

You can control internodal length somewhat with the amount of phosphorus from my experiments in hydro. In soil you don't need to add P and K with a complete plant food.

Silica, kelp and other additives will do more for yield and potency than high amount of P and K. The mineral ratios need to be right, that's the most important thing when looking for a complete plant food.

Many growers including me swear by Foliage Pro 9-3-6 from Dyna gro in containers from start to finish. If I had been living in the States I would probably still have been running Dyna gro.
Kind of complicated for me and I bought some advanced nutrients for soil autos at that any advice

Autos generally need a balanced ratio of nutes before they go into flower then once that starts you gradually move them over to more of the Bloom side of things. As they kind of combine vegging with flowering you don't want to drastically reduce the amount of N but about half way feeding Lucas style would be good. Go easy on additives too until you get to know your strains and each strain will have different needs to get the best out of them.

If you're growing indoors then switch to photos. Autos need 50% more light to give you 50% less pot so why grow them inside anyways. I only want fem autos for growing outdoors way up north here as photos won't work outside. Won't even start flowering until mid-Aug and we had frost Sept 4th this year. Had to build a heated greenhouse around my big CBD girl and then had to chop her too early to save her. Still got almost a pound of hi-CBD bud off her sitting in the freezer!

Not really complicated. The message is you don't really need to use bloom nutes, bloom boosters or any of that nonsense in flower growing in soil. Learn the basics and keep it simple when you start out.

The label on the nutrient bottle doesn't have to look like it's marketed for kids for it to be a complete plant food and I promise you, plants doesn't care. Lol.

Like I said, other additives will do more for yield and potency then added P and K. Good luck and Happy Growing!

It doesn't get any easier than this AN feed schedule for autos. Good luck.
