The only pH answer I've found that truly helps is RO water
Well water start pH 8
RO pH ends up 5.5
Add nutes pH 6-6.5
stays stable
I hear The RO comes out acidic because the acidic ions are smaller and don't filter out.
I can also see a pH doser working if using tap water because there is no significant fluctuation.
My MJ grows acceptable with tap water and nutes(pH 8.5) people that smoke it tell me they don't get paranoid like with other stuff they get from elsewhere. I told you acid makes you paranoid (haha LSD)
The weekly or daily pH fluctuations after products like standard pH down (phosphoric acid) or citric acid just mess up my plants. So it's RO or doser... I am moving to larger reservoirs and RO uses x4 water of what you get clean so too much water used.
I'm not buying a doser unless someone tells me it's awsome
