I have Advanced nutrients micro, grow, and bloom, along with big bud. But there arent any directions on when to use them. I mean, is one better than the other for certain stages? Or do I always use all three together?

Go to their website and use the Nute calc. to find out how much and when to use. The Big bud is only for week two thru 6 0r 7. hope this helps!

ok, so I checked out the site and Im more fuckin confused!

The back of the bottles have a feeding chart. The bottle states for seedlings to use 1ml per liter of water of each nutrient.

The chart on their site breaks it up into week one and week two. First week it says .4ml per L of each nute and second week .6ml per L of each nute.

Now if I understtand this right the bottle is telling me to feed almost twice the amount of nutes as the sites calculator. WTF?

Anybody use Adv. Nutrients that could help me out?

The bottle allways tells you to use too much! If you follow the instructions on the bottle you will overdose your plants and start having deficencys and all kinds of unwanted problems. The FAQs are from people that grow pot. Thats why its better to follow those instructions .

That shit may as well be in chinese with all the abbreviations he used in the faq. I figured Ill try the sites recomendation which was about half what the bottle said. Unless someone has a better idea.

Start at 1/4 strenght after plants are 3-4 weeks old and buid up to 1/2 and see how your plants respond. I never go over 1/2 strenght till late flower. I just got a TDS meter after growing for years and its obvious I have been over feeding even at 1/2 strenght. I have found If you dont over feed and add a little Sweet and Calmag from botanicare to your nutes it will help prevent deficecys. Good Luck Bud!

I forgot! You use the micro and the grow together and the micro and the bloom together and allways put the micro in the water first.

Thanks Brudda!

WHEn you say you do 1/4 strength do you mean a 1/4 strength of what the bottle indicates?

Are you using them for Veg or Flower?

You use all 3 at all times.

For Veg I start with
1ml/L of Micro and Grow
0.20 Bloom

Once they are rooted for veg I use
2ml/L micro and grow
0.40ml/L of Bloom

I dont use the 3 part (micro, grow, bloom) for flowering, I prefer Sensi 2 part bloom

But for Flowering with the 3 part use EQUAL amounts of Micro, Grow, Bloom.

Start with 1.5ml/L of each, then work your way up. 2.5ml/L of Micro, Grow, Bloom is about 1300 PPM so I wouldnt use much more than that for aggressive flowering.

The chart is very clear once you understand it.

Ok, so for seedlings, which is where im at according to the chart...

I will mix .4ml of each of the three bottles to the water?

Im going by one liter of water for a measurement.

Yeah that would be a good place to start introducing nutes, use that mix for a week or 2 then switch to diluted veg or flower mix.

How old are they, and what medium are you using?

About 10 days old, in rockwool right now. I think I overwaterd a time or two. First time. Anyways, some of the leaves are curling down, and some of the plants look like the leave tips are yellowing.

The little round leaves, the original ones, those fall off and die so dont worry, thats normal. But if the "true" leaves are yellowing it is a good idea to introduce nutes.

Start with the diluted mix, use for 2 feedings, then switch to a diluted veg or flower mix, depending on if your gonna flower or veg them.

Also some pics would be great, I would have a better idea of how they are.

You are correct, its the true leaves that are yellowing. I have another slight issue. I have a syringe type measuring device. And I cant measure that small of an amount with it accurately. Whats really trippin me out is the syringe....take a look...http://www.bghydro.com/BGH/itemdesc.asp?ic=MMCSYR&eq=&Tp=

its hard to see in the pic, but where the hose meets the syringe theres a little cone that fills with fluid before the fluid actually makes it up to the 1ml mark. Looks like if I went to the 1ml mark it would be more than a ml........damn...I dont want to fuckin kill the babies.

I use syringes like that, fill the syringe with MORE then you need, so when your filling, you wanna add lets say 2ml, instead of just pulling 2ml, pull 10ml.

Then squirt from 10ml to 8ml on the syringe, and put the rest back in the bottle. You will get accurate measurements and the hose wont screw it up.

 Im pretty baked so I hope that makes sense.

As far as not being able to measure that much, mix a larger amount, do a 2L bottle, or a 4L bottle. You dont need to be right on the money, proportions are more important than the total amount.
