I did say "very decent" . I use a PK boost with MC so on it's own it makes nice buds but they get a bit denser with the PK boost, IMO.

I think Advanced nutrients makes really nice buds also but they are 10x the price and unlike MC they want you to use like 6 different bottles. MC is a 1 part, one and done dry mix.

Right on thanks for the clarification. The extra K isn't a concern when you supplement the pk boost? The formula is high i K already which I don't mind especially being double than the N content

I prefer Canna or Mills. I use it with coco and/or ProMix when the shop is out of Canna CoCo. Works amazing and gives you the dosage right on the website

Megacrop works well with soil ... mixes in water completely.
Simple bump in grams for heavy feeders . Flowering it needs a slight bump as stated.
But any PK boost works .... Beastie , Hydroplex and MOAB ( which i am playing with ).

NFTG is another good nute .

Megacrop ships fast and also has sample bags for just shipping cost.

It's not about the brand, it's about the mineral ratios of your product. There are a number of one-part liquid foods that are cheap, easy to use, and will out-perform both AN and Mega Crop.
Hey Brother, I know you have a thread on Dyna-Gro and may have discussed it somewhere in there - What are the ratios's you would look for in a nutrient for growing mag whore OG strains? N-P-K-Ca-Mg?
Does Dyna-Gro seem to do well on those varietals?

Something like a 2-1-2, 3-1-2, 3-1-3, 3-1-4? I've grown a handful of OGs over the years and I did not notice them needing anything outside of what a complete plant food already provides.

Can you name them? And don't say miracle grow lol.
I happen to really like DG's foliage pro but something like FloraNova grow, or Pure Blend grow, should do really well. Any liquid food with a ratio similar to what I listed above. Now don't get me wrong, Mega *should* work well in containers but not so much in hydro. I've also heard that it's not great to work with. Something about 'a mix of balls and sand'? I personally find dry foods to be a pain to work with for container gardening unless one is making super concentrated stock solutions.

There have been numerous people using Hydro and Mega Crop and have had nothing but success with it. I personally grow in soil but have noticed the plants respond allot better to Mega Crop. I don't know what 'other' nutrients that you claim are cheaper, Mega Crop only cost me about 4¢ each feeding. I got a medium size bag last year and still have over half of it left for this years grow. Got something that works better then Mega Crop and is cheaper? Let me know please... I want to know.

I run hydro with a 100 Gallon reservoir with no medium except clay pellets in a flood and drain. Here are some pics of buds with MC. I disagree it doesn't work in hydro lol. All I do is weigh it, then dump it in and stir. So easy. MC also has better mineral chelation and additional additives than simple NPK formula. If you haven't used it I dunno why you are bashing it. I use it in Promix soil and hydro.
I used to pay for water lol, what a dummy I was. I thought you were going to say Jacks, which I hear is pretty good dry fert but lacks the extras MC has.
