Advanced Nutrients in Hydroponics; what is your nutrient line-up?

Using Advanced Nutrients for the first time. Doing the whole line-up from Hobbyist to Grand Master nutrients using RO water. Any recommendations such as products in that line-up that are a waste of money or other products that should be implemented? Or what was your experience with advanced nutrients with which of their products?

My first grow, not using nutes yet, plants are still a bit small. I have purchased the PH perfect line of micro, grow and bloom. I will probably add a couple of more come closer to flowering time, but for now I am starting with these.

On a side note, I have read quite a few posts that say do not start using nutes untill you have at least 4-5 nodes, then start soft and work up from there.

I'll get my two cents in before the AN haters take over. I have good experience with AN. Hobbyist bundle alone is the core nutrients you need for success. The rest of the nutrients are helpful when applied correctly. Both of you should realize that it is a very concentrated formula and you should not run full strength. You should also keep your additive and base nutrients at proper ratios. So… full strength is 4ml for base and 2ml for additives. cut that in half. 2ml for base and 1ml additives. The easiest way IMO to do half strength is to fill your res half way. Do full strength nutes and then continue to fill the other half of the res.

This is a great place to start. If you are new to gardening, I would recommend starting with the hobbyist bundle. Get successful with that and then look into the other additives. Sensizym is great, Rhino Skin, Bud X. Good stuff. Nirvana is great, but you will need to keep your res clean. It has a lot of Humic acid, so it can stain it up pretty good.

Are you running ph perfect? If you are just follow the back of the bottle. Seedlings and clones 1 ml/liter week2 2ml/gal week3 4mls per gallon. The ph perfect works great too haven't used any meter except for when I flush.

There non ph perfect works well too levels don't seem like they can get as high as the ph perfect but works amazingly. And trust me I hear ya on the A N haters. Everyone has their methods I personally like advanced because they are consistent as all can get. Mix one night reads 1.4 mix same mix next night same. Not to mention there lineup is so easy to use.
