How To Use Big Bud:
Big Bud is a soluble product that can be dissolved right into your reservoir. Both the dry powder form and the liquid concentrate can be mixed this way.
During the blooming phase use 5.0 ml per litre of Liquid Big Bud and 0.5 g per litre of powder Big Bud. During vegetative growth the application rate can be reduced to half of this.
Big Bud is a nutrient supplement intended to be used in addition to a base-nutrient program such as Advanced NutrientsSensi Grow and Sensi Bloom, or our three-part program with Grow, Micro, Bloom.
One can use Big Bud from the vegetative stage until the last week of applying fertilizers. Continual use of Big Bud feeds plants and beneficial microbes with a steady supply of amino acids ( reduced nitrogen ). Typically growers will double the rate of feeding Big Bud when the blooming phase commences.
Because Big Bud is rich in potassium, growers should not exceed the recommended rates for this product.
If one wishes to use higher rates of big bud than the recommended rates shown above while growing with a base-nutrient program that includes more than 3.5% potassium, then we suggest slightly reducing the potassium input of the base nutrient program.
For every additional ml of big bud liquid (above 5ml per litre), use one ml less of the base-nutrient that is highest in potassium (eg 3-Part s Bloom fertilizer). When using Big Bud powder at rates higher than recommended, reduce the base nutrient highest in potassium by 1.0ml for every 0.1g of additional Big Bud Powder.
