Advance Topping?

Hi, recently just finished my first grow and have been super high everyday for about a month so I'll apologise in advanced fs this is a stupid post.

I topped a few of my plants when they were growing and got two colas on each of the topped plants. My question is could you constantly top them and get a load of colas on one plant?

If so, how?

yeah u can just keep topping the tops, so if u topped your 2 tops again u would get 2 to 4 more colars on each top. but i dont think u will yield more u will getm ore bud sites but smaller budds

So is it even worth topping at all ? or are you saying topping too much would be stupid?

top once during veg if your lights are aboe your plants, i top i think u will yield more but u lose 1 week of veg while your plant is healing

Topping is good. It depends on what you are trying to do.

I have a master kush i fim'ed and it has four main colas that are as large as nerf foot balls.

I had a white widoe I lst'ed and super cropped and filled a 4'x 4' screen with one plant. But it made a bunch of golf ball size buds.

Each plant is different.

i fim, top, and LST for the sole purpose of increasing my yield. the thing you eliminate is most of the popcorn buds on the bottom of the plants because they are now getting almost equal light. those popcorn buds double in size thereby increasing your yield.

If you top and prune properly, you can get up to 4 colas per topping. LST seems to be better, see Spanish Fly's latest grow. I let the plant get to 5 true nodes, then I top once right above the 2nd true node. This gives me 4 colas. I have had the bottom two branches get shaded out and never truly develop into cola #3, and #4, in that case, I prune the couple of shade leaves to allow the new tops to get light and join the rest of the canopy.
