Advance nutrients help

hi all, I was interested in trying out AN for the first time, has anyone had experience with their ph perfect range used in dwc? If so what lineup did you use. They have so many different feeds it’s confusing. I can’t see if certain feeds are for soil or hydro and also if the ph perfect lineup works well with all the bubbles produced in the dwc. Thanks for taking the time to read this post...

AN is overpriced garbage. If you're new, want something simple that will just work, use GH flora Trio and CaliMagic with starting water of 0ppm.(Reverse Osmosis Water)
Follow this chart for DWC, ALWAYS mix CaliMagic FIRST and stir THOROUGHLY inbetween adding each part individually.

Hi, I have seen this recipe on grow weed easy, I also have used it and got decent results. What I was interested in was how the ph perfect range held up in the dwc setup. Would be a lot easier if I didn’t have to keep worrying about ph fluctuations, especially in a multi pot system.

P.S also I live in a hard water area and will not be using a reverse osmosis system due to complications of fitting it where I am at the moment.

AN are a bit more expensive but just for personal or small grows $30 for the Qt. Size GMB 3part isn’t that bad. The Ph perfect has worked well for me in my dwc, I rarely ever need to adjust the Ph except pretty early on when my Ppms are lower

RO systems CAN GO RIGHT under sink cupboards and are very small and easy to lnstall.

PH perfect line works wonders in my dwc and it has a pretty strong buffer in it, so if you are adding extra shit in the mix it wont mess with the ph, tbh I think it takes it through a whole Ph swing and that's how its able to work so well

AN Ph Perfect is not garbage. Ignore anyone spewing that nonsense. I’ve used it for years with excellent results in DWC. Almost any brand will produce good results. I like AN because I don’t even have to ph the water if I measure correctly. $30 might be expensive to some, it isn’t to me.

Which "PH Perfect" line are most of you referring to and what are your usage rates per reservoir gallon? :peace:

AN can be expensive if you are not planning on getting 5L of each at a time. Even then it's quite pricey in comparison to other lines. Add all the supplements etc together it costs a small fortune.
If cost is not an issue, go for it. AN 3part worked well for me before a major unforeseen issue arose that halted my grow. Although 5L of each part still cost me around £90.. that's without supps like big bud.
I was running 5 50L single site res at one point. So I used an awful lot of nutes in those.
AN also works well with the lucas formula eliminating the need for the grow out of the 3 part.
A cheaper option still.. is to use the lucas formula/kiss method with GH maxi bloom. It works a treat.
I'm currently doing that atm.. running only 1 site..

I only use AN (except for PK).

Don't believe all the haters...when it comes to growing you need to go through the trials and errors like most things in life and find what fits you.
Follow a AN Schedule but DONT use as nutrients as they recommend.
A must (IMO) when growing is a EC/PPM-reader & PH-reader.
Tricky part when growing is knowing how much EC/PPM the plant needs, cause some plants need alot and some don't need as much.
But with some tutorials, watching the EC/PPM and PH, you basically can tell what's going on.

Here is my latest grow, the buds went into jars 2 days ago.
